Cool Homes: Secretariat Liked His Home Theater, by Rachel Cericola
If you watched the 2010 Disney flick "Secretariat," you in all likelihood muse the striking moments where Penny Chenery’s dynasty would pucker around the inconsequential TV to cheer on their beloved prize-winning stallion. Why didn’t they just use the shelter theater room? It turns out that the Lafayette, Louisiana hospice cast-off during filming is up for sale, and includes a very decent media room. It’s not going to bring home the bacon any races, but it would certainly be worth a show-or a sporting event, an influence flick, or anything else you’d difficulty to project on a big screen.
The digs was completely remodeled in 2005 to restore some of the home’s c whilom glory. It shows in this room, but certainly not in the tackle featured. Also, before you meditate about ripping out that wood paneling, that director Randall Wallace and some of the "Secretariat" mould signed one of the walls in the media room, thanking the progeny for the use of the home. "Secretariat" is based on the upright story of the 1973 U.S. Triple Crown champion.
It stars Diane Lane, John Malkovich and James Cromwell. Other core features embrace four bedrooms, wrought iron balconies, a six-burner stove, two ovens, a Jack and Jill bathroom and a place office. Around the 1.29-acre estate, you’ll catch an oak tree that’s over 200 years ex- and a yard that’s big enough to wander a racehorse. The posted asking evaluation is $1.15 million.
Take a look-see through the idle about of the where one lives on the.
